Podcast: Play in new window | Download
In this episode, we also join the prognosticators in discussing our viewpoint of the horizon of entrepreneurship and podcasting for 2020 on this eve of the new year.
In addition, we also deliver a suggestion for those who wish to use facebook as a tool to grow your visibility in the podosphere and in the world of your business for your niche. The suggestion encompasses the free pdf document titled “The Viral Visibility Checklist” by Sean D. Stewart. This is a resource that was downloaded from the original 12 days of Entrepreneur Christmas from Jennifer and Kathryn (see a prior episode for the details to this give-away program). They will provide you with the link to download this pdf (as they say, a $97 value), with these words from their email note:
“This is Sean’s proprietary 7-point checklist that shows you how he:
- Generates tens of thousands of dollars per post
- Attracts ideal clients willing to pay high-ticket
- Gets viral visibility without spending money on ads
>> Get the Viral Visibility Checklist ($97 value) <<<“
In summary, the checklist provides these suggestions for increasing your visibility via facebook:
- Share “the real you”
- Be polarizing
- Share things that are easily shareable
- Use a compelling headline
- Reply to all comments
- Ask engagement-inducing questions
- Make a compelling call to action
For your business, you may wish to increase your visibility via blogs and podcasts and possibly videos while using facebook to augment the amplification.. This colorful and eye-catching 27-page pdf document goes through the details in which Sean explains the concept and gives some examples.
So if you are an entrepreneur who wishes to enlarge the engagement of your audience while increasing the visibility of your site, your blog, your podcast, your offerings and/or products, then this may be of great use for you. As a podcaster, this will definitely help you to promote your blog posts and podcast episodes (if you use a blog or WordPress, for example, to deliver your content).
With the upcoming New Year, we add in our prediction, as well. We look at the tools for startup businesses and New Media that are available now, and all those still in “vapor-ware” land that have pre-announced, but are not yet available for the entrepreneur or the podcaster.
We feel that 2020 will be a banner year for entrepreneurs, startups, small businesses as well as podcasters. The growth in the New Media space will allow more participation in this environment for newcomers. As the tools become simpler, then posting blog episodes or podcast episodes will be a growing business — especially since the monetization through advertising is prognosticated to grow to nearly a BILLION Dollars USD by the end of 2020. This could be a good opportunity to plan for creating different revenue streams, of which advertising could be just one.
As you can see from the pdf described, key considerations include inducing engagement with your audience, your avatars, your listeners or readers; also included are sharing content freely with others to gain the visibility; and finally, to be included always is a good call-to-action.
Whatever your small business or entrepreneurship has for its foundation and its goals, we hope that in the coming new year, your startup or small business will both meet and exceed your objectives for success. And we hope that these seven suggestions for increasing visibility will help you on your way.
So on this New Year’s eve, we salute your efforts and hope that you start off with resounding success via viral visibility and with great content for your blog and/or your podcast and your business.
Thank you for your attention, and Happy New Year!
