In this episode of The Struggling Biz show, we deliver a REPURPOSED EPISODE (from a prior episode in the now-podfaded show of The Struggling Entrepreneur) that contains an interview with Thomas Umstaddt, Jr., an entrepreneur. I had met Thomas ten years ago during the launch of the first iPad device, and we chatted while we were standing in the line to go in and purchase the first Apple iPad. And I did get permission to use his interview on my podcasts.
Thomas has been an entrepreneur, an author, a presenter and speaker for entrepreneurs. You can see him at his web site for marketers of https://www.authormedia.com/novel-marketing/
Now, during an earlier episode of Dave Jackson’s podcast episode in The School of Podcasting show, it was mentioned that Thomas does a Novel Marketing podcast show. I found out that there would be a webinar scheduled with Thomas and Dave Jackson. This webinar would be about launching a book, with Thomas as co-host. And you can find out more about what this webinar was about at the link from the book launch information site at schoolodpodcasting.com site
So, when I first met Thomas, he gave me his impressions of what would later be a great tool for business, the iPad device in an onsite impromptu interview.
I had seen his potential as a great speaker and demonstrator at a later meeting of the Austin Podcast User’s Group (during the time in which I was the leader of the group — and his skills and background are amazing).
So, we deliver an 11-minute REPURPOSED podcast episode from over 10 years ago with Thomas Umstaddt (which was originally posted on the now-podfaded show, The Struggling Entrepreneur), where many of the themes are still evergreen.
I highly recommend that you check out Thomas Umstaddt and his suggestions for launching a book, as well as all the other sub-themes that are described by Dave Jackson in his episode # 818 of the show, schoolofpodcasting.com.
And I hope that you do get valuable information from both Dave and Thomas during their webinar (scheduled April 5th). From my perspective, there is a lot of value in the information discussed by Thomas, along with a growing experience as an entrepreneur. I hope his info can help to make your business more successful.
Thank you for your attention.
